Travel between Heathrow Airport and the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health

The easiest way to get to Oxford from London is by using the 'Airline' bus via Oxford Bus Company (tel: 01865 785 400). The 'Airline' bus also serves Gatwick airport. Information from the 'Airline' website:

Using Terminals 1, 2 or 3? Central Bus Station is a short walk from Terminals 1, 2 & 3. Lifts, escalators and moving walkways are available to help with the journey. 

Using Terminal 4? A free bus transfer to Terminal 4 leaves from bus stand 7 at Terminal 5.

Using Terminal 5? Our airline coach leaves from stand 10 at the arrivals concourse to take you to Oxford. 

*Please check the monitors confirming the arrival bay for your bus*.  

Ticket: Ask for a period return (valid up to 3 months). You can buy your ticket from the driver in pounds sterling, dollars or euros.

Frequency of Buses: Every 30 minutes or so. Journey time one-way: Approx. 80-90 minutes.

The bus driver will call out the stops - please alight at the "Headington shops" bus stop. From there you can walk to the Centre for Tropical Medicine (20 minutes) or take a taxi if you have lots of luggage.
