The MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine provides a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary foundation in global health. The full-time one-year multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary programme examines major challenges to the health of populations in resource-limited contexts. The course embraces the breadth and complexity of global health challenges facing resource-limited settings, and equips candidates with the tools and awareness to contribute to innovative solutions.
As a part of the Nuffield Department of Medicine, the Centre offers doctoral studies through the NDM Prize Studentships. These are fully-funded awards and are open to outstanding candidates from any country without restriction.
The department can also accept students with external sources of funding such as MRC studentships, the Wellcome/NIH studentships, and the NIH-Oxford Scholars Program. Please also read the full overview of graduate studies in the Department.
Around two thirds of our graduate students are international. Our prospective graduates often have questions for us about what it's like to come to Oxford and live in the UK, so the University has put together some answers.
