Vilasinee Yuwaree is a Research Coordinator in the Epidemiology Department at the Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU). Based in Bangkok, Vilasinee has worked at MORU since May 2016. Reporting to Dr Richard Maude, Head of Epidemiology, Vilasinee arranges and coordinates field studies on malaria in northeast Thailand.
Holder of a Masters in Pharmacy Administration degree from Mahidol University, before joining MORU, Vilasinee worked as a clinical trials coordinator and study start-up specialist for international pharmaceutical companies in Thailand. This taught her the importance of ethics committee and made her experienced in local regulatory requirements.
