HEALTH INFORMATION
Wearing a face covering is now a personal choice and the University's guidance on face coverings has therefore been retired (unless you are working in a hospital setting).
Few cases are serious enough to require hospitalisation, and the University has removed the remaining restrictions - but please note that separate NHS guidance continues to apply in hospital buildings.
Some staff and students may continue to have concerns about returning to on-site work and study, and we ask all members of the University to be considerate and continue to take steps to reduce the risk of infection. This includes:
- avoid contact with others if you might be infectious
- respect other people’s space
- let fresh air in when indoors
- keep up to date with COVID vaccinations
- respect those who choose to wear a face covering
- cover coughs and sneezes and wash your hands regularly
Please refer to the University of Oxford Health page for updated health guidance.
