The Centre, which is part of the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine, has research groups based in Africa and Asia as well as across two sites in Oxford. The research ranges from clinical studies to behavioural sciences, with capacity building integral to all activities. Proochista, who is an Associate Professor of International Development and Health, talks about her research studying the intersection between processes of international development and health, and how development has multiple effects on the different dimensions of health.
