\n \n \n \nIHTM lecturers, Dr Roger Nascimento and Dr Aronrag Meeyai, ran a two-day Curriculum Development Action Plan Workshop in Bangkok organised jointly by SEAMEO RIHED and the University of Oxford. The workshop was part of the SEA-UK Leadership Exchange Programme.

\n \n \n \nA core component of IHTM is the leadership, management and communication training, LMCT, and an integral part of this is the media training that took place last week at Green Templeton College. The training provides the tools and practice to promote effective communication with different audiences.

\n \n \n \nIHTM students have finished their 8-week research placements and returned to Oxford. Their first week back saw the students gather at St Hilda\u2019s College to present a summary of their placement work and experience to their colleagues, supervisors and teachers.

\n \n \n \nThis week, the focus shifted to this year\u2019s IHTM placements. Following the exam period, placements begin at the end of April and finish at the end of June with a 10,000-word dissertation based on the student's research completed by mid-August.
