Crossing Boundaries 3, a conference on health systems, showcased Oxford’s multidisciplinary research in low and middle income countries. Participants met and shared ideas with world-leading experts in the field from Oxford, Kenya and South Africa. The conference demonstrated Oxford University’s capacity to build on its world-class expertise in medicine and global health by developing cross-disciplinary collaborations in global health systems research.

A conference to showcase Oxford’s multidisciplinary research informing health systems strengthening in low and middle income countries (LMICs)

To promote cross-divisional research collaborations on global health systems research

Sessions will combine keynote talks, rapid oral presentations, poster displays and networking opportunities.

Meet the experts from Oxford, Kenya and South Africa speaking on:

  • Health Systems Research
  • Primary Care
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Organisational Research and Governance in Health Systems

Areas covered include technologies, task shifting, interdisciplinary research methods, antimicrobial resistance, mental health and governance amongst others.

Student presentations

Early career researcher, masters and DPhil students are encouraged to submit abstracts for a two minute oral presentation and poster display. Prizes will be awarded for best poster.
