What are the English Language requirements for this course?

If you are an international student you will need to provide proof of your English Language proficiency. The Application guide lists the full details of everything you will need when applying to Oxford including information regarding the English Language requirements.

If you are eligible to apply for an English Language waiver, you will need to include the relevant details in your original application.

What do you mean by “Experience of global health issues including at least one year's experience in a resource limited context?”

Successful applicants for this Master’s course will be able to demonstrate experience in any aspect of work related to health, provided that it is gained within a resource limited context. Previous students have had diverse backgrounds covering a broad range of fields including: engineering, journalism, environmental management, and a variety of healthcare professions within government and non-governmental organisations, education-related environments etc.

We encourage a diverse cohort both geographically and in terms of academic/professional background to promote peer learning.

Should all reference letters be academic references or can I provide a mix of academic and professional references?

At least one of your references must be an academic reference, but you can provide professional references as well.
