Jo Mulligan

Senior Health Adviser and Team Leader of the Global Health Research Team in the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office

Jo is responsible for managing research programmes across FCDO's global health portfolio including clinical trials, health systems, humanitarian public health and infectious diseases. Before FCDO, Jo was a lecturer in health economics and policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine working on the economics of malaria.  

Jo has more than 25 years of experience in public health and health economics research and has lived and worked in several countries in Africa including Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Malawi. Jo holds an MSc from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD from Imperial College London.
