Forhad is a Bangladeshi consultant in medicine, with an immense interest in sepsis, AMR and conducting quality clinical trials in low resource settings. He has been serving in Bangladesh Civil Service since 2010. Forhad is a Commonwealth scholar and was featured in yearbook 21 of Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK  and received Integrity Award 21 from Bangladesh Government for his outstanding contribution in COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh. He co-authored National Guidelines on Clinical Management of COVID-19 and Standard Treatment Guidelines of Common Infections of Bangladesh. Beside this, he is a guest Lecturer of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK.
