Jacqueline Papo
Public Health and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist at the Global Fund
Jacqueline Papo is a Public Health and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist at the Global Fund, based in Geneva; she works in collaboration with countries in the West and Central Africa region, supporting the fight against HIV, TB, malaria and COVID-19. She previously worked with CHAI - Clinton Health Access Initiative, in the kingdom of ESwatini, on an initiative to scale-up access to HIV testing and treatment. She has a DPhil in International Health from Oxford University Department of Public Health, and a MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her DPhil research focused on condom access and use in rural Kilifi, Kenya, in collaboration with the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. She has also worked on several projects in collaboration with UNHCR and WHO. Following her DPhil, Jacqueline was a teaching and research associate for the MSc in Global Health at Oxford, for the Statistics and Epidemiology modules. Jacqueline has recently completed an Executive MBA at the University of Geneva, with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership. She is passionate about the links between research, policy and implementation in public health.
