Associate Research Fellow
Le Hong Van is a clinician researcher in Tuberculosis Research Group at Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) Vietnam. Prior to joining OUCRU, Van was a clinical lecturer of Pulmonology, Internal Medicine Department, Faculty of Medicine at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Her current work focuses on understanding tuberculosis and improving treatment outcomes. Van has conducted observational studies to understand pathophysiology and to validate novel diagnostic tests for pulmonary, pleural and tuberculous meningitis. She is also a member of UNITE4TB consortium and responsible for conducting a large multi arm multi stage multi-site innovative trial PARADIGM4TB at OUCRU Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to evaluate new regimens for tuberculosis.
