Shanti Rochester

Shanti Rochester joined IDDO in June 2023. As a Project Officer – Data Sharing, she supports global governance processes and policies that encourage data to be shared and reused responsibly.

Prior to joining IDDO, Shanti carried out field research on maternal and infant health in Uganda and quantitative analyses on community-resilience initiatives (CRIs) affecting rural communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, she has experience in fundraising within the contexts of Brazil and East Africa. Shanti holds a BSc in Political Science with a Specialization in International Relations and Organizations from Leiden University in the Netherlands and a MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London.
