  • Project  Manager at Sahara Ventures for  “The Botnar challenge” . A global innovation challenge focusing on mentoring teams and startups that use of AI in researching, and tackling  youth health challenges. Over 30 applications received, 8 teams facilitated and 2 teams awarded seed fund to grow their start-ups ( Funded by Fondation Botnar, Switzerland) 2018
  • Project Coordinator for Mawazo Challenge, a health students innovation challenge.  The focus was on ideation and acceleration of startups and businesses initiated by students from over 11 medical and health allied universities in Tanzania. 250 applications reviewed, 30 teams mentored, 10 teams accelerated and 8 teams provided with seed fund to grow their start-ups. HDIF-UKAid and implemented by a consortium of Sahara Ventures, Tanzania Bora initiative and Tanzania Medical Students Association ( TAMSA). (2016-2018)
