For eight years, AfOx has worked at individual, institutional and regional level in Education, Research and Innovation, with a string of successful placements, courses and grants for African students and staff.

The Vice-Chancellor praised the team for the way the team has worked tirelessly, collaboratively and in a sustained way over several years to make a positive difference in pursuit of the University's academic mission.

"We are deeply honoured and humbled by this recognition, which reflects both the hard work of our incredible team and the strength and depth of our partnerships across Africa. We congratulate all the nominated projects and are grateful for the overwhelming support from the Vice Chancellor, our Oxford colleagues and our partners across the continent”, says Dr Anne Makena, AfOx Co-Director.
