Professor Ali Ghufron Mukti is the President Director of the Indonesian Social Security Administering Body for Health.

Introduced in 2014, Indonesia’s universal health coverage scheme (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional) covers over 90% of the population (250 million people) across an archipelago of 17,000 islands. Professor Mukti is an internationally recognized researcher in Health policy and financing, epidemiology, and managed health care.
