The A Novel Extreme Weather Risk Insurance System for Kenya (NEWRISK) Project has commenced implementation of its study in Kisumu County. The study aims to assess stakeholders’ priorities for addressing extreme weather events and to survey health facilities to evaluate hazards, exposure, and vulnerability. It will also explore effective ways of communicating the impacts of extreme weather on health and health services to communities in Kenya.
