I have learnt that a scientific mind should avoid taking information merely at face value, and rather should critically analyze the evidence before actually believing it.

Title: What are the gender-based differences in factors associated with health seeking behaviour of chronic kidney disease patients, in Northern Ghana.

The IHTM Ethics Week came alive during my time at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Renal Unit. Every decision had an ethical impact, so the practical discussions and learnings that we had in that week, were incredibly useful.

For the first time ever in a research application for structured expert elicitation study in clinical decision-making I am applying R programming which was taught by IHTM.

Title: The Contribution of Medical Supply Chain Issues to the State of Maternal and Neonatal Health in Liberia - A Qualitative Exploration

I’ve had the privilege of participating in multi-stakeholder discussions on the development of strategies aimed at strengthening the supply chain to ensure efficient delivery of essential commodities across the country, and intricate decision-making processes in shaping healthcare policies and the complex factors impacting healthcare service delivery.

Title: Assessing access and coverage of community-based management of acute malnutrition in Urban Montserrado/Grand Bassa, Liberia

During my placement, I effectively utilised skills in conducting program evaluation, employing rigorous analysis and evaluation frameworks to assess the outcomes and impact of the community-based nutrition program, thereby generating valuable insights for evidence-based decision-making and program enhancement.
