Holly Chalcraft

Student Funding Officer

Holly is responsible for the successful operational delivery of the AfOx scholarships selection process. She manages the eligibility and interview assessment processes, offer letter process and the disbursement of scholarship funds. She is also actively involved in the college partnership funding process and manages a portfolio of scholarships within Student Fees and Funding.

Prior to joining AfOx, Holly completed her PhD funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Her qualitative ethnographic fieldwork, based in London, focused on the lives of Greek professional migrants in the context of post-Brexit Britain exploring the impacts of financial crisis and contributing to our understanding of migrants' experiences of emplacement and displacement.

Holly is a Wellbeing Champion for the University of Oxford and outside of work she volunteers for a number of charitable organisations. She particularly enjoys her role as a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister scheme run by the Oxford Hub.
