I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Disease Modelling group, focusing on the dynamics of interacting epidemics. I use a combination of analytical methods and simulations to understand how co-infections shape disease transmission, progression, and control strategies.
I received my PhD from the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan, where I researched epidemic growth on complex networks under time-dependent infection rates. My expertise is grounded in stochastic processes, network theory, and statistical physics.
