THESIS
Emily’s DPhil project will involve assessment of the current and future health vulnerability of the Kenyan population due to extreme weather events (EWEs) in a changing climate. She will evaluate health vulnerability and quantify current and future health risk of the Kenyan population to extreme weather events. The findings of this project will contribute to resource allocation strategies and inform adaptation and mitigation measures aimed at safeguarding the Kenyan population from adverse health related impacts due to EWEs.
