Professor James Berkley, Head of Clinical Research at the KEMRI Wellcome Trust Research Programme, has been elected to the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences

Professor James Berkley's research interests include tackling infection and inflammation to prevent mortality in malnourished children. He is also an expert advisor on severe acute malnutrition to the Ministries of Health, and the World Health Organisation.
