This study aimed to assess the vaccine’s ability to stimulate an immune response on those who have their immunity compromised.
The study was conducted in November 2020. 54 male participants, diagnosed with HIV, were eligible for the study.
They received two doses of Oxford Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
The study found the vaccine to be effective and safe for those living with HIV.
