Our alumnus Minah Faiz (cohort 2019-2020) has started the first-ever non-governmental organisation (NGO) to work exclusively with migrant workers in the Maldives.

The first-ever NGO to work exclusively with migrant workers in the Maldives, Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives was registered on 23rd November 2020.

The vision of MMWM is to be the focal point in the Maldives to advocate for the rights, transform vulnerabilities and actualize justice for migrant workers by following a human rights-based approach.
