THESIS
Exploring the economic consequences of climate inaction on health systems in Africa by reviewing evidence on disease-related economic burdens and the costs and benefits of mitigation and adaptation strategies, and by generating new empirical estimates of the short- and long-term health-care costs attributable to early-life and childhood exposure to extreme heat, rainfall variability, and flooding.
