I lead the Scientific Secretariat for the Global Research Collaboration for Infectious Disease Preparedness (GloPID-R) . I'm also the PI for the Pandemic PACT programme research lead for the COVID-19 Research Coordination and Learning Initiative (COVID CIRCLE).
I am a Course Advisor for the International Health and Tropical Medicine masters course- focussing on global health policy and evaluation and leadership.
I’m an infectious disease epidemiologist by training, undertaking my PhD and Post- Doctoral Research Associate work at Imperial College London on Neglected Tropical Diseases. I worked as a Programme Manager for the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative in Tanzania, before joining the Wellcome Trust where I worked for nine years on global health funding, policy and developed a new global health insight and analysis function. I worked as an independent global health policy research consultant for two years before being appointed to the Head of COVID CIRCLE role at UKCDR to lead their research and policy work for the COVID-19 pandemic. I've been involved in the IHTM Masters course for the past four years and joined GloPID-R in 2021.
