AfOx Mastercard Foundation Scholars

Nashwa Mohammed, from Sudan, and Reem Elsayed, from Egypt, are two of this year’s IHTM students who feature in a recent article from the University of Oxford which profiles some of the 2024/25 Mastercard Foundation Scholars under the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx). AfOx aims to increase the number of African students pursuing postgraduate degrees.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars receive full scholarships for a rigorous one-year taught postgraduate course, leadership and impact programme, entrepreneurship support and networking opportunities. Read more:
