Teaching and Learning Award Nomination

IHTM’s first nomination recognises its innovative workshop, “Preparing the next generation for outbreak preparedness and response.” Delivered in partnership with ISARIC, WHO/GOARN, WOAH, and leading academic institutions, this workshop is designed to strengthen the global health emergency surge workforce.  It equips students with critical skills for effective emergency preparedness and response, drawing on real-life scenarios and simulation exercises. The multi-disciplinary teaching team, spanning public health, veterinary science, political science, and more, delivers an integrated approach to tackling global health crises, building on lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Support for Students Award Nomination

The second nomination highlights IHTM’s dedication to shaping future global health leaders. The programme’s Leadership, Management and Communication Training (LMCT) module blends taught, self-directed, and peer learning to deliver lifelong learning competencies tailored to prepare students to work across multidisciplinary teams in resource-constrained settings.

These nominations highlight IHTM's ongoing commitment to innovation in teaching and student support.
